Our Mission:

Biker’s for Foster Kids is lending a helping hand to foster kids and families in need.  We pride ourselves in community involvement while assisting foster families in helping to aid in making transitions for foster kids less traumatic.

History:

Biker’s for Foster Kids was first created in 2009, since that time the money raised has come from donations from businesses and individuals in our community through benefit runs, benefit dances, and advertising.  We were first made aware of the fact that foster families and kids need some additional help with basic necessities; i.e. clothes, school supplies, hygiene products, and even teddy bears.  The transition to foster care can be a frightening time and they don’t often have time to get all the things they need.  Biker’s for Foster Kids goal is to make that transition smoother.  If we can help foster kids retain their identity and still just be a kid, that’s what we aim to do.
